More fishes

The difference being that these aren't so alive. ImageImage

Headed down to Johor Bahru for some seafood dinner 2 weeks ago and I found these creatures. Made my day.

A Hindu temple

For her Sociology photography assignment, my cousin had to visit a religious place and so she took me along with her to a beautiful Hindu temple near her place.

When we got there we had absolutely no clue what to take photos of. So we talked to the priests, people who came in for the 6pm prayers and really, just anyone we saw and looked friendly enough.

He let us help him with making the little candles. At first we thought he worked there and made them for everyone. Yeah we thought wrong.

The most amazing sky ever.

We got to talk to this really nice lady who took the time to explain to us Hinduism (they weren't kidding when they said it's complex). It wasn't a full and complete story but it was a pretty sweet summary. Afterwards, her family invited us to have dinner with them at the temple. Okay we were still really lost even then and never in our lives had we ever eaten anything like this. While it still isn't my favourite dish (that would be chicken wings), it was pretty good. Like mushed rice with spices. I'm also so bad with descriptions I'll never make it big in the gourmet industry where they use words like .. well I'm not even so sure what words they use.

And that was the end of a really good day.
