Life as a poor human

Finally got round to sending my film (courtesy of Kenryu hehehehe) for processing and I'm pretty proud of myself for not screwing up as much as I thought I would. Definitely deserve a pat on the back for that.

Internship has been as shitty as possible but last night with the Accounting 2 people made the whole week so much better. Even though the week has only just started but yeah. The whole 3 hours felt like we were back in class again laughing at the most ridiculous things with the exception of me being ridiculously late and falling asleep. Also turns out that the normal part of the group got the same grade even though I only turned up for about ¾ of the classes. Again, pat on the back.

With my mom spending all her free time scrolling through the Groupon site and me rushing to get my license before leaving for Spain, I've got my schedules for the next 2 weeks all set, which I'm really looking forward to.

Also 1 more thing to be thankful for: that most of my friends aren't turning 21 anymore/yet. I'm so broke I might need to sell my dog.

Bay Sushi

Had lunch at Bay Sushi on Friday thanks to Jannypie who picked up the tab hehe. They have incredibly affordable set lunches there for $15++. With my pork katsu came rice, a small bowl of udon, oranges, this tempura corn that Jan instead was onion, 2 fried shrimps, a bowl of miso soup and salad. Okay it probably doesn't sound like that much but Jan and I were both real full after that so I suppose that says something.

So after Jan left to get back to work Shirlyn and I did the usual shopping. I swear we're a horrible influence on each other. And despite all my "No it's okay I'll get whatever I want when I get to Spain 'cos Zara/Mango/everything will be cheaper there" and "Nah man I'm broke" and "I should save the money for shopping and eating in Europe instead" .... I ended up handing money over to Zara.

Shirlyn and I should probably stop hanging out.

Summer

After ages of neglecting this space I finally remembered that I do have a blog. So here goes photos from forever ago because I've been too damned lazy to carry my camera out and take photos. Time to review my priorities perhaps.

Buns Burger Bar in Kuala Lumpur:

Headed down to help out after my finals and got to try their beef burger, chick burger, scampi dory burger, garlic prawns, gula melaka cake and tender chicken fingers. Have nothing but a very hungry tummy now thinking about all the amazing food. My favourites were the chick burger and scampi dory burger because - I don't know but they were just so good.

Can't wait to head back in July with Emiry for burgers 24/7.





 

So things have been going really great recently. Besides my inability to express my thoughts coherently. Like now. That and some sort of a lack of direction in what I want.
