I think some of the best nights are made of staying in, snuggles, movies, KFC and a bottle of wine.

Had the heartiest laugh I've had in a while at some dingy void deck - hands sticky with condensed milk from the churros and sauces from our Turkish kebabs, Ramly burgers passing through mouths and hands as we attempted to toss them off to one another, Thai rolled ice cream melting and begging to be eaten,

and my heart and belly very, very full.

"After all, she was Sarah Chia, to be grown woman and she could do whatever she pleased. Damned be those who said otherwise. Also, she had a terrible aversion to people in general so the love-hate relationships she formed suited her just fine. And it was a brilliant way to cover up not being able to remember people's names."

Week 5: Stu-dying

But in all honesty, I don't think I've ever really enjoyed uni this much. Hopping around everyones hall room, with the most impromptu Tinder swiping sessions, getting dead drunk in hall and going to an 8.30 class the next morning with a terrible hangover, making a conscious effort to get fitter - netball, basketball, swimming - and actually enjoying my lessons.

I've a lot to be thankful for - people I barely talk to but who've done the nicest things for me, people who I can rely on through the worst of times.

And I'm back to the usual mess of thoughts that live inside my head - jobs jobs jobs jobs jobs / friends / whats for lunch / jobs jobs / homework / readings / all those projects / will I ever be ready for all this responsibility that comes with this thing they call growing up?

Make it stop

Mingjie coined the #thesimplehalllifeivealwayswanted hashtag which I've refused to use for the longest time.

But I think this is one of those moments deserving of it.
